Ingredients

  • Sesame (white) – 400 grams

  • Mawa (Khoya) – 300 grams

  • Powdered sugar – 200 grams

  • Ghee – 2 tbsp

  • Cardamom powder – 1 teaspoon

  • Chopped dry fruits (almonds, cashews, pistachios) – 2-3 tbsp

Directions

  •  Riding sesame seeds toast a visage and add sesame seeds and fry them on low honey. When the sesame seeds come light golden and their aroma starts coming out, turn off the gas. After the sesame seeds cool down, grind them coarsely in the mixer. After the sesame seeds cool down, grind them coarsely in a mixer.
  •  Preparing mawa- Heat ghee in a visage and add mawa to it. Shindig mawa on low honey till it turns light golden and sweet. Let it cool.
  •  Making the admixture- In a large vessel, add roasted sesame seeds, mawa, and powdered sugar. Add cardamom greasepaint and diced nuts and mix well. Press the mixture with your hands to make it smooth and flexible.
  •  Making the rolls Apply some ghee on a plate or clean your face. Take the admixture and give it a spherical (roll) shape. Let the set roll set for 15- 20  twinkles.
  •  Cutting and garnishing- Cut the roll into 2- 3 inch pieces with a knife. However,  trim with diced pistachios on top, If you want.
  •  For serving- Sesame mawa rolls are ready. Store in a watertight vessel. It’ll stay fresh for 7- 10 days. This form will prepare about 800 grams of sesame mawa rolls.

  •  Use high-quality sesame seeds for the stylish flavor and texture.
  • Acclimate the quantum of sugar to your taste preferences.
  • Make sure to cook the mawa admixture until it thickens and turns golden brown.
  • To achieve the perfect roll shape, let the admixture cool slightly before rolling.
  • You can also add nuts or dried fruits to the admixture for added flavor and texture.
  • Store Til Mawa Roll in a watertight vessel to maintain newness.
