To feel full longer, add a generous nugget of nut butter or Greek yogurt to your oatmeal. They both offer some succulent creaminess in addition to healthy protein and fat.

- Melt the butter in a medium-to-large saucepan over medium heat. Once melted, add the oats and stir to fleece. Cook, stirring sometimes, until the oats smell warmish and some are starting to turn smoothly golden, about 4 to 6 twinkles.
- Pour the water and milk into the pot, being careful to avoid splatters. Add the swab and cinnamon, if asked. Stir to unevenly incorporate the oats, also watch the pot until the admixture is washing fleetly around the edges. Continue cuisine until the bubbles expand a couple of elevations toward the center of the pot, about 3 twinkles in aggregate.
