Tomatoes – 6-7 (ripe, big size)
Ghee – 2 tbsp
Boiled potatoes – 2 (mashed)
Green peas (boiled) – 1/2 cup
Cashews – 8-10 (chopped)
Raisins – 8-10
Ginger – 1-inch piece
Green chilli – 2-3 (finely chopped)
Coriander leaves – finely chopped
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Roasted cumin powder – 1 tsp
Chaat Masala – 1 tsp
Salt – as per taste
Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
Fresh cream- 2-3 tbsp
Directions
- Preparation of tomatoes- Wash the tomatoes and slash them into fragile pieces. Make sure that the tomatoes are ripe and red, this enhances the taste of the chaat.
- Riding the fragrances- Heat ghee in a visage, append cumin seeds, when the cumin seeds start creaking, append diced gusto and verdant chilies. Now add diced tomatoes to it and bend on low honey for 5- 7 twinkles, until the tomatoes come soft and mucilage-like.
