Ingredients

  • 500 grams sweet potato (boiled)

  • 1 liter milk

  • 150 grams of sugar (according to taste)

  • 1/4 cup khoya or dry fruits (optional)

  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder

  • 10-12 dry fruits (almonds, cashews, pistachios) chopped

  • 1 teaspoon ghee (optional)

Directions

  • First of all, wash the sweet potato well and sizzle it. When the sweet potato is fully twisted, strain it and keep it away to cool. When it cools down, remove its peel and crush it well.
  • Pour milk into a visage and sizzle it on medium honey. While boiling the milk, take care that it doesn’t burn from the bottom.
  • When the milk starts boiling, append the crushed sweet potato to it. Integrate it well and allow it to bend for 10- 15  twinkles so that the milk and sweet potato dissolve well.
  • Now append sugar and integrate well. After adding the sugar, allow the kheer chef for 5- 7 twinkles more, until the sugar dissolves fully.
