Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice (basmati or best quality)

  • 4 cups milk

  • 3/4 cup jaggery (grated)

  • 1/4 cup khoya or mawa (optional)

  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder

  • 10-12 chopped dry fruits (almonds, cashews, pistachios)

  • 1-2 teaspoon ghee

Directions

  • First, wash the rice completely and drink it for 2 twinkles. Also, strain the rice and set it away.
  • Set 1-2 ladles of ghee in a visage and heat it on medium honey. When the ghee is hot, append the saturated rice and shindig for 2- 3 twinkles.
  • Now append milk to another visage and bring it to a pustule. When the milk starts boiling, append the roasted rice to it.
  • After putting rice in milk, allow it to bend on medium honey.
  • Keep stirring it continuously before adding jaggery in the position of sugar so that the rice culinarians duly in the milk.
