Ingredients

  • 8 ounces (about 2 cups) of high-quality pecans, either whole or in pieces

  • Sea salt, to taste

  • Dash of ground cinnamon (optional)

Directions

  •  
    Pour the pecans into a voluminous skillet and toast, stirring frequently, over medium heat until ambrosial (don’t allow them to burn!). This will take around 4 to 8 twinkles. 
  •  Pour the heated pecans into a food processor or high-calibre blender and allow them to cool for several twinkles. Also, blend the pecans, breaking to skirmish down the sides with a spatula frequently.
  •  The admixture will initially be crumbly but will ultimately blend into super-creamy virtuousness.
  •  Be careful not to allow the admixture to get too hot, which seems to beget oil painting separation. You might have to stop and allow the admixture/ engine to cool down for a fleck precisely to be safe.
  •  The quantum of blending time needed depends on your engine — my old food processor took ten to fifteen twinkles to turn the pecans into pecan adulation, but my fancy Blend Tec and Vitamix blenders can turn it into adulation in a nanosecond or two.
  •   Append a pinch of ocean swab and a gusto of cinnamon (if utilizing). Mix again, taste, and append further swab or cinnamon if demanded.
  •  Pour into a fragile crash, seal it with a lid, and store it in the refrigerator for good measure. This pecan adulation will keep well, cooled, for over 1 month or consequently — obviously, do not eat it if you know or smell any gesticulations that it has gone along bad.

Notes

  •  This pecan adulation is only as good as the pecans you set in it.Seek out fresh pecans from a store with a high development.
  •  Pecan adulation contains a high quantum of antioxidants.
  • Store pecan adulation in the fridge to help oil painting separation and corruption.
  • Wash pecan adulation before use to ensure the oil painting and solids are well mixed.
